Student Writer Internship

Job Description: Student Writer (Remote Internship)

We are searching for a talented current Macaulay student to join our team as a Student Writer for an enriching, paid internship opportunity. As a Student Writer, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging content that showcases the vibrancy and uniqueness of Macaulay Honors College. This remote internship offers valuable experience in writing, editing, and content creation, and is open to students from all academic backgrounds who meet the qualifications below.

The internship spans 15 weeks and offers competitive compensation. (Please note the start/end dates below are flexible.)

About Us: At Macaulay Honors College, we are dedicated to providing our interns with meaningful assignments and real-world experience. In celebration of our upcoming 25th anniversary, we are embarking on a transformative journey to revamp our website and better communicate our mission to the world. As part of this initiative, we are seeking a passionate Student Writer to join our team and contribute to this exciting project.

Responsibilities: As a Student Writer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality written content that highlights the achievements, events, and opportunities at Macaulay Honors College. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting research and interviews to gather information for articles
  • Writing engaging and informative content for various platforms, including newsletters, social media, and the college website
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop content strategies and campaigns
  • Editing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy and clarity

Commitment: This internship requires a commitment of 10 hours per week for 15 weeks. This is a remote position with little to no in-person requirement.

Compensation: This is a paid position with a one-time stipend of $2,500.
