CUNY Honors ConnecT

Macaulay Honors College, in partnership with Cornell Tech, is excited to launch CUNY Honors ConnecT, a new research experience program for Summer 2026! This prestigious opportunity offers up to 10 students the chance to work in Cornell Tech faculty labs, gaining hands-on experience in cutting-edge research.

This is a competitive summer research program designed to provide students with real-world research training in an academic setting. Participants collaborate with faculty and graduate researchers, contributing to innovative projects while developing technical and analytical skills that are crucial for graduate study and professional careers.

Application Details & Timeline:

• Deadline to apply: February 27, 2026, 11:59pm
• Students selected for an interview with the Director of CUNY Honors Connect will be notified by March 20, 2026.
• Interviews will be on March 23 and 24, 2026. Final decisions will be made by April 1.
• If selected, students will need to attend Orientation on May 28, 2026

5. Letter of Recommendation (Upload letter of recommendation from a faculty member or academic advisor).
   NOTE: Recommenders can email letters of recommendation to Angeline Gomez (ag2267@cornell.edu) if they do not wish to submit them directly to the student. Letters of recommendation sent in this manner must be received by March 6, 2026.
